local wats

One Saturday morning last month, I took the chance to finally visit two of the wat that are within walking distance to my apartment. It is really sad that this adventure took seven months to come to fruition, but it was a wonderful Saturday morning.

The first wat I went to was Wat Botum. I already loved this wat as I run in Wat Botum Park regularly. It is a large wat and the outside fence has pastel pink details which I adore.

The second destination was Wat Onulaum. Again, it is a wat that I walk by almost daily and it was awesome to finally explore. The wat is huge and very old. There were so many friendly people around to talk to us about the wat and its history. It is one of my favorite wats that I have visited in South East Asia so far.
